Here on Venice Beach's Boardwalk is where a trend could pick up some momentum.

Kelli Weaver: I decided to follow my passion and make my dream come true... One stitch at a time. Now, you can find me slinging my art at Venice Beach. I'm on the boardwalk on Sundays... usually by Sidewalk Cafe. I have an etsy shop where you can purchase material and finished pieces. Custom Orders are welcomed. I like free patterns. I have learned so much from the patterns of artists before me. As a thank you to all of them, I will give patterns for free.
